New Study Shows Zeke Smith is Overpaid
PPS Chief of Staff Zeke Smith’s college major is number 11 on the list of lowest paying jobs but he could certainly bring the average up.
Drama Majors:
Average starting salary – $35,600
Average midcareer salary – $56,600
Zeke’s salary - $124,067

How does Zeke’s salary compare to other urban school district chiefs-of-staff? For that matter, do other school districts even have such a position? PPS never had one until Vicki Phillips hired Carole Smith to be hers.
teachers must be highly qualified, how come many of the people at BESC are not? Examples; Director of Migrant Ed does not speak spanish, Director of Funded programs has not completed an accredited educational leadership program to be a “real administrator.” This does not seem highly qualified to me.
